Choumei sumimasen

Well then...this is what happens in a few hours..

I actually tried a dozen things at once in this. I used small lines, a soft brush continuously, and actually drawing hair as...well...hair.

Now, the story:

Reiboku (the guy in the background) was on his worldly travels, and he found Choumei (the girl). They had a relationship, and they were happy, but while traveling with her, Reiboku soon found a village with many humans in, including Ayumi. He felt awful, but he had fallen in love with the Ayumi human girl, and broke up with Choumei, he couldn't continue to lie to himself about his love. Choumei was hurt, but seemed to understand..

She had a background I think I made up, but I can't remember it now, but for some reason what he did reaally hurt her to tears. She thought she had found her mate, and when he let her down to a human, it was a weee bit disgraceful. Reiboku and Ayumi fell in love, and all Choumei could do was watch.

On a full moon (she's half wolf half dog demon, so the weird mix does weird things on full and new moons) she goes berserk with loss. Without thinking, she ended up killing Ayumi out of jealousy.

Reiboku never forgave her. I think it might have been on her right cheek (or I forgot -_-), but he slapped her right across the face, leaving four sharp jagged scars. She came to her senses and couldn't believe what she had done. He left the next day with Ayumi's body to bury her alone, and he hid his scent with herbs he acquired (his world travels were initially to learn healing arts from around the country, so he had a bunch of junk like that) so Choumei never found him again. I don't know what happened to her after that...all I know is that she never forgave herself either for what she did.

So, yeah...poor Choumei...poor Reiboku...(POOR AYUMI)

Reiboku spent a few more years away from home then traveled back. He couldn't bring himself to really be happy each day, he felt awful. After months of moping a lively wolf demon named Meiki came to town looking for directions and she never got them . It's a long story with them too, but I'll stop there.

So yeah, lots of tests and stuff on this thing...I don't know how long it took, just that it was a long time.
